I've begun my story for the Big Bang and I'm now about 2500 words in. There's a good chance I can finish this at least by the end of September, unless I just totally ignore it for a few weeks. And I just now realized that even if I do finish it that early, I have to sit on it and not post it until December. ACK!

Oops.

Oh, that brings me to a question. I usually post the rough drafts of my fic in my writing journal. That's not considered officially posting it, is it? I don't pimp out the rough drafts at all, just the finished product.

AWWWWWW okay. At least I can send it to my beta, who would chew my arm off waiting otherwise. *likes her arms where they are* :)

Oh, we definitely recommend sending it off to a beta, especially if loss of limbs is a consequence of you not doing it.
